Calisthetics!


Great Question someone asked about exercises to improve and utilize calisthenics. I love the classic pull up...Do them all—overhand pull-ups and underhand chins, wide-grip and narrow, thick bar, switch grip, and hanging from irregular objects—and you'll create amazing tensile strength and powerful connective tissue and a great way to build a strong back. Bodyweight squats go all the way to the gro...und—ass to ankles. or pistol squats? I am a HUGE believer in bodyweight exercises and a lot I teach are using a swiss ball and bodyweight as well as sometimes a TRX, some weights and Kettlebell. I personally hate to use the standard machines. They work in one plane of motion and do not allow you to stabilize your body using all the muscles and are a fast track to developing a weak core
